Ltd. executed the Automation of Jammu Development Authority (JDA) as a comprehensive e-Governance and digital transformation initiative aimed at modernizing internal operations and enhancing citizen-centric service delivery. JDA plays a pivotal role in regulating, approving, and monitoring planned urban development activities in the Jammu region, making efficiency, transparency, and accountability critical.
- Project Scope
The project replaced fragmented, paper-based processes with a fully integrated digital ecosystem built on Newgen OmniDocs Document Management System (DMS) and a MeitY-compliant e-Governance architecture. The solution enabled electronic file movement, end-to-end document lifecycle management, and seamless information flow across departments.
Key components included implementation of E-Office, E-File, DAK Management, Record Management System (RMS), and multiple citizen-facing e-services, ensuring faster approvals, reduced manual intervention, and complete auditability. Legacy physical records were digitized, indexed, and securely archived for instant retrieval and long-term preservation.
The engagement covered As-Is and To-Be process mapping, application development, infrastructure setup, system integration, and long-term Operations & Maintenance (O&M). By aligning with national e-Governance standards and integrating administrative and financial modules, the project delivered a single unified digital platform for governance, administration, and public services.
