Development of BMTPC Mobile Application – Interactive Vulnerability Atlas of India
Net Creative Mind Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was engaged to design, develop, and deploy a cross-platform mobile application for iOS and Android platforms for extending the Vulnerability Atlas of India into an intuitive, interactive, and mobile-friendly digital platform.
- Project Scope
The project aimed to transform static hazard information, maps, and reports from the existing web-based Vulnerability Atlas into an interactive mobile application enabling easy access to hazard vulnerability data across India. The application allows citizens, engineers, planners, researchers, and policymakers to explore hazard maps, spatial layers, and vulnerability reports in a structured and user-friendly manner.
The solution integrates hazard datasets including Earthquake, Cyclone, Flood, Landslide, and Thunderstorm vulnerabilities, enabling users to navigate through national, state, and district-level hazard information via an interactive map-based interface. The mobile application also supports location-based hazard discovery, offline document access, and secure API integration with the existing system.
The application was designed in full compliance with Government of India standards for accessibility, security, hosting infrastructure, and mandatory security audit requirements, ensuring reliable and secure dissemination of national hazard information.
