Asset lifecycle management

Less downtime. Longer asset life.

Maximo unifies maintenance, inspections and reliability so operations teams fix problems before they stop the business.

IBM Maximo Application Suite is a unified asset and facilities management solution. It brings maintenance, inspections and reliability for critical equipment and infrastructure together, and uses AI to improve uptime, performance and value — even with ageing assets, workforce constraints and fragmented data.

From work orders and mobile field service to sensor-driven predictive maintenance and long-term investment planning, Maximo covers the whole asset lifecycle. As an IBM Silver Business Partner, NetCreativeMind implements, upgrades and integrates Maximo with ERP, SCADA and IoT systems through IBM App Connect and MQ.

How Maximo Works

From reacting to breakdowns to fixing problems before they happen.

  1. Register assets

Build one registry of assets, locations, history and maintenance plans.

  2. Monitor condition

Sensors, meters and inspections feed real-time condition data.

  3. Predict & prioritise

AI scores asset health and predicts failures, so effort goes where risk is highest.

  4. Act & improve

Work orders reach technicians' mobiles, and results feed back into the plan.

Reactive to predictive

Fix it before it breaks

The difference between emergency call-outs and planned, predictable maintenance.

Without Maximo

Reactive maintenance

  • Unplanned breakdowns stop production
  • Fixed schedules service healthy assets too early
  • Paper job cards and spreadsheets in the field
  • Spare parts missing — or overstocked
  • Replacement decisions based on guesswork
With IBM Maximo

Predictive asset management

  • Failures predicted and prevented early
  • Maintenance triggered by real asset condition
  • Mobile work orders with full asset history
  • Optimised spare-parts inventory
  • Investment plans backed by condition and risk

Have a different question? Ask our Maximo team
What is IBM Maximo Application Suite?

IBM Maximo Application Suite is a unified platform for enterprise asset management, asset performance management and asset investment planning. It helps organisations maintain, monitor and plan their equipment and infrastructure, with AI built in.

We run Maximo 7.6. Should we upgrade?

Yes — Maximo Application Suite is the current platform and adds AI, monitoring, health and prediction capabilities. We plan and deliver the upgrade, including data migration and a review of your customisations.

How is Maximo licensed?

Maximo uses AppPoints — a flexible, credit-based model under a single entitlement — so you can use different capabilities and scale users without buying each application separately.

Cloud or on premises?

Both. Maximo is available as SaaS or as client-managed software that you run on Red Hat OpenShift in your data centre or in your chosen cloud.

Can Maximo integrate with SAP and our plant systems?

Yes. We connect Maximo to ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle, and to SCADA, historians and IoT sensors, using IBM App Connect, MQ and standard APIs.

Which industries use Maximo?

Manufacturing, energy and utilities, oil and gas, transportation, government, healthcare and facilities — any organisation whose performance depends on physical assets.
